This is a working draft prepared for launch — have counsel review before the site goes fully live.
These terms cover your use of the KAFART website (kafartng.org) and your participation as a visitor, applicant, or partner in the Kaduna Fashion and Art Festival. KAFART is an initiative of Gazelle Creative Foundation, based in Kaduna, Nigeria. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
Using this site
You may browse, read, and share content from this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to misuse the site — including attempting to access it by automated means beyond normal search-engine indexing, interfering with its operation, or submitting false information through our forms.
Intellectual property
The KAFART name, logo, and site content — text, photography, and design — belong to Gazelle Creative Foundation or the artists and photographers credited, unless stated otherwise. Artwork and fashion presented at the festival remains the property of its creator. Contact us before reproducing anything beyond fair use (quoting, linking, sharing on social media with credit).
Open Call submissions
When the Open Call is live, you retain ownership of any work you submit. By applying, you confirm the work is your own and grant KAFART permission to display it — in the exhibition, on this site, and in festival promotion — with credit to you. Full terms specific to that edition's call are published alongside the application form.
Attending the festival
Festival days are documented through photography and video for archival and promotional use. By attending, you agree that your likeness may appear in this coverage. If you'd rather not be photographed, let our team know on site. Follow venue staff instructions at all times — KAFART reserves the right to refuse entry or remove anyone whose conduct disrupts the event or endangers others.
Third-party links and embeds
This site links to and embeds content from third parties — Instagram, Google Maps, and our newsletter and contact-form providers among them. We aren't responsible for the content or practices of those services once you leave kafartng.org or interact with their embedded widgets; their own terms and privacy policies apply.
Liability
This site and the information on it are provided as-is. We work to keep dates, prices, and programme details accurate, but festival programming can change, and we recommend confirming time-sensitive details close to the date. KAFART and Gazelle Creative Foundation aren't liable for losses arising from your use of this site or attendance at the festival, beyond what Nigerian law requires.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from them will be handled in the courts of Kaduna State.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the festival and site evolve. The date at the top of this page shows when they were last revised — check back periodically if you're relying on them.
